Description
Columbia 300 continues to deliver nostalgia with performance. The brand is now known for returning yesterday’s favorites with updated performance to fit today’s conditions. The Piranha PowerCOR was well received and offered big symmetric ball motion, similar to its 1990s ancestor. The likely follow-up, the pearl version, brings you exactly what you’d expect: a big symmetric shiny pearl offering that bowlers will go to when there is still some oil present, but backend and strong ball motion are needed. You didn’t have to have one in the ‘90s to understand that the ball motion of the new Piranha PowerCOR Pearl is the kind of ball motion you need in your bag today.

The Piranha with its HK22 – ERT+ Pearl coverstock easily gets down the lane. The ball motion to the pocket is strong with great continuation through the pins. The Piranha PowerCOR core is very similar to the PowerCOR cores in the Cuda and Messenger lines. This coverstock and core matchup is an awesome combination. Way to go Columbia300!
