DV8 Damn Good Verge
Well, I can't disagree. It's pretty Damn Good. It has a strong overall motion. I compared it side by side with the Brunswick Knockout which is my favorite big symmetric. For me, the Damn Good Verge picks up a hair later than the KO but it is a little more angular down lane as well. They are pretty close for me. I would feel comfortable throwing either one. It picks up nicely in the mid lane and goes into a string angular roll threw the pin deck. For me it will work best on heavier or fresh oil conditions or when you need to get left and still have the ball get around the corner. Should be a nice fit in most arsenals.

Believe the Hype….This Ball is just that Good!!!
The DG Verge is by far the best in the Verge line. This is truly a benchmark ball DV8 that all bowlers have been waiting for. The DG Verge is very smooth and consistent with incredible mid-lane roll. The DG Verge allows bowlers to gauge the lane conditions and provide bowlers a very good idea on the pattern on the lanes. This ball gives bowlers more continuous movement through the backend…much more in comparison to its predecessor, the Verge Solid. If you have been watching the PBA over the past few weeks, you have seen this ball in the hands of every Brunswick staffer that has made the show. This ball is really just that good and I highly encourage any bowler looking to get back into the sport….after COVID-19 goes away to make a leap and try the new DG Verge. Remember…if you are not throwing DV8, you’re just not bowling!!!

Most Versatile Benchmark Ball
Extremely impressed with DV8’s Damn Good Verge. It reminds me a little of the original solid Verge but, this one is a little bit cleaner/longer and retains a lot more energy down lane and goes through the pins way better than the original. I was able to play multiple parts of the lanes and change my angles with hand positions some and still strike, so it is very versatile. This is absolutely going to be a reliable benchmark ball especially on the fresh that you can stick with longerr than most benchmark balls. This is really a “tour” type ball reaction without the word tour written on it and will be a favorite on the tour and for tournament players everywhere, but also a great starting ball at league. It does like to see a little bit of oil as it is a pretty strong symmetrical solid with a cool sparkle traction type additive to it so it will dig in some oil. Overall, super excited and like what I saw from it. Also has Dynamicore and DOT so I dilled mine 55 x 4 x 30 with about a 425 rev rate it matched up well for me.
